Job description

Application Support Engineer – Cambridge Start-Up (just closed 2nd round of funding!) – Share Options + Above Market Rate Salary

If you’re reading this advert you are either curious about what’s on the market right now or wanting to leave your current job – but most Application Support Engineers I speak to ask me about the below, so I’ll save you some time and be honest with what to expect:

– You can see yourself working closely with international clients to help them understand this state-of-the-art product and perform on site demonstrations.

– You’ll get to travel a fair bit! Participating in seminars, conferences and meetings to promote the companies’ products will allow you to travel the world (50% of the time!) and learn how other cultures work.

– You will have a life outside of work. Whilst this is a start-up, the role is hybrid, so if you need to work from home some days that is fine. There may be some days longer than others, that’s the reality!

Based around the corner from the Cambridge Science Park, the team are now looking to bring an Application Support Engineer on board to help their customers implement their new product and also showcase it to prospective clients around the world.

Having just closed out their second round of funding, the business can offer new team members share options, above market rate salaries and pension contributions to match other Cambridge tech businesses in the same market.

They are looking for people with strong RF Front-End fundamental knowledge. Experience in RF Development would be a huge plus here, and you’ll have to be available to travel for 50% of the time to meet clients both here and abroad. A history of having been an applications engineer within electronics comms in would also be ideal.

Sounds interesting, but how if this any different from the other roles in Cambridge?

In comparison to other Applications Engineering opportunities I am working at the moment, this is the most lucrative – not many businesses are so well-funded and can offer shares so if you are interested: * Apply directly to this Job Advert and I will receive your CV, call you and get the ball rolling.

  • If you don’t have an up to date CV, don’t worry! Drop me an email

and can chat. * Drop me a message on LinkedIn: Alexander Flory – and we can take it from there.

Applying for a position that you cannot meet while there is a more suitable position for you will cause you to lose a job that you can take.
