Job description: An exciting opportunity has become available to support our rapidly growing offshore business as an IT Operations Project Manager, based in London.
This role will involve joining a small IT team where you will be expected to work independently, work across several disciplines and possess a reasonable level of technical knowledge to support decision making.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Application management
- Take overall ownership across a number of key applications which support the running of the business.
Responsibilities include:
Developing an application roadmap and supporting architecture diagrams.
Working with various internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure applications meet the needs of our
business.
Key applications include: * Accounting ERP system.
- HR cloud-based applications (e.g. HRIS, LMS, Performance Management, Recruitment etc.). o Site planning and engineering applications.
- Quickbase (low-code platform for bespoke applications).
Project management:
Act as project manager on a number of existing and new projects we are running in the IT team. This may include helping users to identify and select new solutions, running pilots, working with suppliers, perform testing, documentation etc.
Develop a number of project management practices so we are improving how we run IT projects.
Support supplier management (e.g. onboarding, ongoing governance and billing).
Support IT governance and planning (e.g. performance reporting, cyber security documentation, risk management etc.).
Supporting a number of strategy based initiatives.
Desired Experience:
Given the nature of the role it is desirable for you to have consulting experience (e.g. working in an organisation like EY, Deloitte, Accenture etc.)
Experience in owning, configuring and supporting various applications.
Experience in leading IT projects in a dynamic environment.
A degree in IT or equivalent field.
