Job Requirements:

The role of a supermarket assistant involves a range of tasks, including advising and serving customers, moving and replenishing stock, carrying out housekeeping activities and handling cash and card transactions according to set procedures. Partners may be expected to work in any area of the branch to support the wider team as required, and to maintain the necessary business dress and hygiene standards.

Hospitality

Salary: £10.30 – £11.48 hourly

Required essential skills, experience and qualifications:

Team Manager

Salary: £25,100.00 – £38,100.00 yearly

As a Team Manager you’ll be responsible for influencing, motivating and guiding a team whilst driving the shop forward. You will contribute to the overall performance of our unique brand through exceptional shop keeping and line management skills.

You’ll be a proactive role model for delivering superb customer service, overseeing the shop floor, to ensure our customers get the best experience. At times you’ll manage the entire day to day operation to optimise sales, profitability, customer satisfaction and minimising wastage. Job Requirements:

You’ll ensure consistently high levels of availability and exceptional merchandising standards as well as delivering an efficient, legal, and secure store operation. You’ll take responsibility for the operational activity.

Packer

Salary: £8.20 – £9.43. The pay range for this role will increase to: £8.40 – £10.00 from 1 April

To be an important part of a wider team responsible for supplying high quality mushrooms to our supermarkets.
Key activities include but not limited to:

– Overseeing of product quality (presentation of mushrooms, packaging, labelling, neatness of punnets in trays)
– Label check and sign-off
– Correct stock rotation in the fridges
– Tidiness and cleanliness of pack-house, fridges and other areas as required

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

– Evidence of basic English literacy skills
– Working as part of a small team

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

– Basic food hygiene certificate
– Safe Forklift Operation
– Food processing or packing
– Working unsupervised

Hours of Work
30 per week to include weekends.
07:00 – 13:30 or until job is finished
Saturdays – Wednesdays
