RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Service

Service Lead

Driving sales targets through supervising key activities in line with our Burberry behaviors and service expectations. Supporting store management to ensure great customer experiences through on the spot coaching, driving sales performance, opening/closing and POS processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving sales targets and key KPI’s through the leading of sales and non-sales activities as directed by the store management team.
  • Coach, assist and motivate sales associates to ensure a luxury client experience supporting Burberry client journey, communicate product knowledge and improve overall selling techniques to achieve objectives.
  • Lead by example, set the pace and standard to deliver excellent service to customers. Setting the bar in customer loyalty and all aspects of the Client Journey.
  • Supervising customer flow to ensure the best possible service.
  • Coach “in the moment” and post client interaction to talk through the successes and opportunities and ensure proper follow-through on follow up actions.
  • Partner with store management to support Burberry client journey training within the store. Use morning and weekly briefings to constantly reinforce key elements of the client journey through role-play, providing tips and talking through difficulties of individual associates.
  • Partner with store management to support behaviour and objective expectations. Provide feedback to management team on individual performance.

  • Ensure appropriate levels of supply in cashier stations at all times and all customer documentation accounted for and filed according to compliance standards

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • 1-2 years preferred supervisory / sales lead experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, results driven and flexible to change
  • Proven ability to drive and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
  • Strong clienteling skills

Stockroom Associate

Reporting to the Associate will work closely with the Sales Associate team and will play an active role in the effective control of all stock within the store.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring that high standards and effective operations of the Stock are maintained by liaising closely with the Sales Associates and Management Team of the store on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for receiving merchandise within the business.
  • Receive merchandise onto SAP computer system and process relevant paperwork in a timely and effective manner.
  • Sort, ticket / label merchandise into pre-defined categories / Sku’s.
  • Identify administration issues / concerns and taking action in a sensitive and timely manner.
  • Physical stock management / movement and maintaining the effective overall stock flow / storage process.
  • Store Replenishment
  • Picking and packing merchandise in a timely and effective manner.
  • Raising any concerns / issues and taking appropriate action in a sensitive and timely manner.
  • Flexibility to occasionally working weekends and / or Bank Holidays if required. Notice will be given in advance. Appropriate overtime payments will apply where necessary.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Applicants should have previous experience within a retail and/or warehousing environment.  We are looking for a team player who is used to a busy warehousing / admin environment and is able to work to close deadlines.  The role will include physical stock management / movement.
  • The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter who has a lot of enthusiasm and drive, is credible and able to liaise with people at all levels. Must possess good numerical and analytical skills. Knowledge of computers would be considered an advantage.

Sales Support

RESPONSIBILITIES

General Store Support

  • At all times present oneself professionally and in line with the brand image and company grooming guidelines

  • Be aware of and follow all company procedures in relation to loss prevention and report all suspicious activity, cash or stock losses to the Asset and Profit Protection team and Store Management team
  • Understand and comply with Health and Safety procedures in the store, participating in health and safety and loss prevention training as required

Point of Sale Support

  • Prepare points of sale and issue till floats ready for trading
  • Daily execution and completion of cash reports
  • Ensure all credit cards, checks and travelers checks balance and correct discrepancies from past cash reports in a timely manner
  • Follow opening and closing procedures; and ensure all cash drawers are accounted for in safe and are prepared for the following morning.
  • Understand and effectively follow all point of sale procedures e.g. Global Refund, Customer Compliance, Till procedures (cash handling, credit authorisation, acceptance of cheques, exchanges) etc.
  • Ensure all customer goods are wrapped and presented in accordance with company guidelines and ensure the highest level of service is delivered
  • Ensure customer loyalty by concluding the sale, quickly and efficiently whilst capturing customer data to ensure future contact, ensuring aftercare promises are kept

Sales Floor Support

  • Strive and assist the store in meeting sales targets
  • Be aware of the complaints procedure for customers
  • Be aware of visual merchandising guidelines and assist to re-position displays when required
  • Ensure effective support is in place for the sales floor, locating and bringing products to and from the Stockroom, enabling the sales team to deliver an enhanced brand experience

Stockroom Support

  • Assist the Stockroom Associates to maintain the stockroom at all times, ensuring it is kept in an orderly manner and all products are correctly tagged and ticketed
  • Assist with the delivery of stock when needed, collecting altered garments for customers and transferring garments to other stores as required
  • Actively participate in all team meetings and in the Burberry Experience programme
  • Embrace digital initiatives and ensure that you are always up to date with company communication both internally and externally including new initiatives and products, promotional activity, brand features in the press, etc.
